A Full Plate

I woke up at 5am today, excited for the day ahead. Not knowing how the day would unfold however, I was very nervous.

I arrived at church this morning at 7am. I rehearsed for approximately 2 hours on the organ before heading to branch presidency and branch council meetings.

Family History Training

Today I slept in until 6am after not getting to bed until 11pm. For about an hour or so, I tried on pants that my mom have been hemming for my mission. I’ll be honest, I hate trying on clothing.

I attended a family history training session put on by the YSA branch today. I was there mainly for the technical side of the event, but loved the family history side of it as well. The person I really want to ask on a date was there, but left before it was over and I never had a chance to ask.

Fun in the Park

Today after pressing the snooze button like 5 times, I gave in and woke up. After morning preparations, I wrote some more of my talk for Sunday.

Today at work, we again did heavy duty cleaning of the floors. My knees and hands have just about had it.

Wednesday and Thursday

Both days I was able to wake up between 5am and 5:15am. I’m glad I’ve been getting a little bit more sleep the past few days.

Both Wednesday and Thursday, we were cleaning the floors at work. My body, especially my hand, is getting sore from the constant gripping of a brush.

Mission Interview and a New Shirt

Today I woke up at 4:30 so I could have enough time to prepare for the day and meet with my Branch president before I left for work.

Today at work, we did a lot of cleaning. *eyes roll*

After work, I got my new MoTab t-shirt (pictured above) and got my new dress shoes in the mail.

I Love Pictionary!

I surprisingly had no struggle waking up today after the weekend. Hopefully this week will go by faster than last week.

Today at work, we began storting out the fixture bins. I want to pull out my hair, but I want to keep it; so if there is anybody that is willing to let me pull their hair out, let me know.

Father’s Day

I woke up at 5:30 today after spending 30 minutes listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in bed. After my shower and before I left for church, I also listen to more music from the Choir.

I left for church at 6:45 and arrived about 20 minutes later. Yes, I realize that I have a lead foot. I practiced the organ for a solid 2 hours. I have narrowed down my list of hymns for next week’s musical number to 3 that I know I can play well.

Hurrah for the flag of the free!

After not getting to bed until midnight, I slept in until 7am. I knew today was going to be uneventful, so I found some things to do to make it eventful.

One of the first things I did today was to finish my transcription of Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever March. I started working on it in March (no pun intended) and finally finished it today. I’ll be reaching out to a publishing company this week about it being published as an online, download only, arrangement.

Friday Night Bonfire, well fire at least

I woke up at 5:30 knowing I’d have a late night tonight.

Today at work, we performed a variety of odds and ends tasks in the shoe department. I left at 3:30 so I could get home and have some breathing room between getting off of work and leaving for Sheboygan.

Mission Shopping

I woke up at 5am, wide awake and ready to go.

Today I was working outside again. The sun was out, but there was a steady, strong breeze. I did a lot of walking today, and probably put on 3 miles.

After work today, my mother and I went shopping for new shoes for my mission. We also picked up my suits from JCPenney. I’m so excited to wear them!

Tomorrow is a bonfire in Sheboygan (pronounced She boy gan). I can’t wait to see you know who.
