1 And God made a pig, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the eighth day.

2 And God said let there be bacon, and [insert dramatic pause here] there was bacon.

3 For my soul delighteth in the eating of #bacon; yea, the eating of bacon by the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads.

Allen 1:1-3

If you thought Mondays were hard, Tuesdays after a three day weekend are even worse. I woke up at 5:30, but not willingly.

Work today consisted of changing out shelving. I’ll leave it at that.

We read in Moses 3:1-3 about the seventh day of creation and that God had sanctified it. We talked about how important it is that we keep the Sabbath day holy.

Second, we talked about the Garden if Eden and the events that happened therein. We learned that Adam and Eve were married (Moses 3:24), that Adam was born knowing how to read and write, Adam named all the animals. President Kimball taught that Eve was not literally created from Adam’s rib.

Third, we learned about Lucifer and how he became the devil. First, he wanted to save everybody by force and wanted all the glory to be given unto him. When Satan’s plan was rejected, he rebelled and was cast out of heaven.

The Savior did not go to the the righteous, but rather to the wicked, the people who needed the most help. This is like a physician, he does not go to the healthy, but rather the sick because they need healing.

Fourth, Adam and Eve partook of the fruit of the knowledge of Good and Evil. The difference between transgression and sin is that sin is inherently wrong, while transgression is doing something that is prohibited.

We had 7 students in attendance and I gave 2 people rides to institute. I arrived home at 9pm and was in bed around 9:15.
