We’ve been quite busy this week. Business means a happy missionary!
This week we were about to pick up a super solid investigator, but unfortunately, she postponed on us two or three times. Hopefully we’ll finally pick her up this week. She has met with missionaries in the past when she lived in Oregon, but she has finally turned 18, moved out of the house, and can be baptized with out parental permission. She apparently was dating a member before she moved.
We did more service at Hart Park this week. We helped build some fences as the deer enclosure’s tree fell down after some intense wind. They needed to have an enclosure for the deer to stay in while the tree cutting service came in and chopped it up. Afterwards, we cleaned up the deer’s usual enclosure, let it go back and took down the temporary enclosure.
We have this cool family that we’re teaching. They’re name is the Canteno family. They are married and have two young adult aged children. We taught them this week and they even fed us dinner. They live in a place called Val Verde and when it rains, it gets flooded. Yesterday it rained before church all the way until after church so they were not able to make it past the flooding.
Elder Thorpe and I are doing great and there isn’t much more to report on for today so, have a wonderful week!
