Today is Memorial Day, one of several holidays to that pay tribute to the men and women who have served our country in the Military.
At 9am, Appleton had it’s annual parade. My favorite part of the parade was definitely the marching bands.
11am was the Appleton 2nd ward memorial picnic. I played scrabble with my mom and a few of her friends and thoroughly enjoyed the cheeseburger and hotdog I ate. My favorite food was a dish that was made up of diced potatoes and bacon!!!
FHE tonight was at my house. We had a joint lesson from several people who went on the Kirtland trip. After our lesson, we ate mint ice cream from Dairy Queen and played in the pool. I love being a YSA!
This long weekend has been, well, too short. I must be at work tomorrow by 7am.
